San Francisco is a coastal city of California. To its south is Los Angeles, which is approximately 400 miles away. San Antonio, Home To The Alamo
The city of San Antonio is found in Texas, to the Southern Central part of the state. Its neighboring city is Houston which is located almost 200 miles to the northeast of San Antonio. It is also 150 miles away from the Mexican border that is found to the south. The city is served by the San Antonio International Airport. Most of the population in the city is made up of Tejano, who maintain a Hispanic culture. The climatic conditions of the city are characterized by hot summers and cool winters. The best time for visiting is therefore in either spring or fall. The city is a popular tourist destination in the region, with numerous attractions.
The number one attraction site in San Antonio and the greater Texas state is the Alamo. It is a historic site although nowadays it has been reconstructed into a Spanish Mission. It is found in the center of the city and according to history, this is where Texas patriots totaling to 189 died in the year 1836 while trying to defend their territory from an attack by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna of the Mexican army. There is a small museum that is found in this reconstructed mission and visitors can tour it for free.
The other unique attraction to San Antonio is the Paseo del Rio or simply referred to as the River walk. This is a riparian canyon that was landscaped from the San Antonio River. It is characterized by numerous trees and flowers on its banks, magnificent walkways that form meanders, waterfalls and bridges that have been constructed to transverse it. The river front views from the shops, restaurants, hotels, and even nightclubs are all a sight to reckon.
The Hispanic culture blended with the Mexican heritage is another tourist thriller in the city. The La Villita area of historic significance now serves as an arts and crafts community center. This was done in a bid to try and preserve the culture of the natives. Visitors can also get a feel of the Victorian homes that are very well preserved at the King Williams Historic District. Las Vegas, a Playground for Adults
Las Vegas is found in Nevada. Its location is strategic in that it falls near the Arizona and California borders. The other town that borders Las Vegas city is Los Angeles, which is about 245 miles away. The city is characterized by desert climatic conditions, receiving an annual rainfall of approximately 2inches.

Such extravagance is always witnessed in the ever-present Las Vegas Shows in the city. The original versions of these shows featured mainly variety shows. Nowadays, people who visit this city are guaranteed of many entertainments no matter the evening that they are visiting. Moreover, most of the latest shows are and productions are more extravagant than the older forms of entertainment.
Most of the restaurants in Las Vegas are usually found in the casinos, though some exist independently as well. Visitors can try out the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is a common casino culture. Lastly, as far as tourist attractions are concerned, Las Vegas is not all about gambling. It is located next to one of the eight wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon National Park, the Death Valley National Park and the Zion National Park, all which are 150 miles each to the east, west and north east of the city respectively.
