San Francisco is a coastal city of California. To its south is Los Angeles, which is approximately 400 miles away. Its location is so strategic in that California Coastal Mountains provide it with an excellent shelter. A unique feature about the city is its streets that are usually very steep. From the streets, one is treated to some great panoramic views of the scenery below that is composed of the surrounding mountains and the San Francisco Bay. The climate here is somewhat moderate in that summers are characterized by warm weather conditions while winters on the other hand are rather chilly. However, there are no extreme weather conditions.

The Electric Bike Tour is one of the most exciting activities to take part in when one visits San Francisco. The event entails touring the Golden Gate that leads to Sausalito. The tourists use the latest models of electric bikes. One particular example is the UltraMotor A2B. The reason why these bikes are chose is due to their ability to give the rider different options while riding the bike, a feature called “Power On Demand”. They may opt to peddle the bike, power the motor, or use both options. The ride is meant to be a fun affair and not a competition. Before the adventure can begin, the bike needs to be fitted well, an orientation carried out , and finally some test driving done to make sure that everything is fine. The Sausalito is actually the climax of the ride. The return journey back to San Francisco is via a ferry boat. The risk of falling also rules out pregnant women. Lastly, all the protective gear must be worn during the ride.

The Tampa Bay is located on Florida’s western coast. All the three communities of Tampa, Clearwater and Saint Petersburg are located here. Generally, Tampa is a metropolitan center that is quite large. Clearwater is found on the gulf coast to the west of the city’s downtown. Saint Petersburg on the other hand lies to the south of Clearwater and is a less commercial area. There are various attractions in Tampa that many tourists will find quite fascinating.

For tourists who like beach ambience entertainment, then the best place to head to is the Clearwater hotels.  On the other hand, those who prefer a rather quiet vacation, then Saint Petersburg is the right place where one will find quiet condominiums and vacation homes for rent. Tampa Bay, just like the rest of other Florida cities, experiences a semi-tropical climate. The winters are characterized by cool but mild weather conditions while the summer weather conditions are hot and humid with lots of rainfall. The best time for visiting Tampa is during spring and fall when the days are usually warm. Tampa is sometimes referred to as the “lightening capital of USA”. This is due to the fact that lightening is a common phenomenon especially during summer. In fact, on average it claims at least one life in western Florida. Therefore tourists who visit during such seasons should always take care and avoid those activities or areas that might expose them to such dangers.

Apart from the beaches and beach activities, there are other attractions in Tampa as well. Museums include the Tampa Museum of Art, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Museum of African-American Art, the Zoology Gardens, the Children’s Museum of Tampa and the History Center.  In Saint Petersburg, there is there is the Dali Museum and the Museum of History. There are also a number of parks and art galleries in Tampa. Examples include the Bush Gardens theme park, the Weeki Wachee Springs amusement park which has the only underwater theatre in the world, the Cypress Gardens, among many more.

Last but not least, tourists who visit Tampa Bay can be treated to some exciting sport activities and events. The most popular one is golf. There are many area golf courses for all-year round recreation. Other sports include the NFL football, league baseball, Jai Alai, league soccer among others.

The city of San Antonio is found in Texas, to the Southern Central part of the state. Its neighboring city is Houston which is located almost 200 miles to the northeast of San Antonio. It is also 150 miles away from the Mexican border that is found to the south. The city is served by the San Antonio International Airport. Most of the population in the city is made up of Tejano, who maintain a Hispanic culture. The climatic conditions of the city are characterized by hot summers and cool winters. The best time for visiting is therefore in either spring or fall. The city is a popular tourist destination in the region, with numerous attractions.

The number one attraction site in San Antonio and the greater Texas state is the Alamo. It is a historic site although nowadays it has been reconstructed into a Spanish Mission. It is found in the center of the city and according to history, this is where Texas patriots totaling to 189 died in the year 1836 while trying to defend their territory from an attack by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna of the Mexican army. There is a small museum that is found in this reconstructed mission and visitors can tour it for free.

The other unique attraction to San Antonio is the Paseo del Rio or simply referred to as the River walk.  This is a riparian canyon that was landscaped from the San Antonio River. It is characterized by numerous trees and flowers on its banks, magnificent walkways that form meanders, waterfalls and bridges that have been constructed to transverse it. The river front views from the shops, restaurants, hotels, and even nightclubs are all a sight to reckon.

The Hispanic culture blended with the Mexican heritage is another tourist thriller in the city. The La Villita area of historic significance now serves as an arts and crafts community center. This was done in a bid to try and preserve the culture of the natives. Visitors can also get a feel of the Victorian homes that are very well preserved at the King Williams Historic District. Here, one will find a restaurant at Guenther House where they can sample the city’s best local breakfast.

For a taste of Mexican style and fashion, then the Market Square, or El Mercado as locally known, is the right place to be. It is actually the largest Mexican market in the entire USA. Products range from jewelry to clothing, pottery crafts, among many more others.

Many Museums are located in the Alamo Square. They include the Hertzberg Circus Collection & Museum, the Navarro House Museum, the Buckhorn Museum and the San Antonio Children’s Museum. Perhaps the most interesting of these museums is the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum due to the strange artifacts that are found there. They include cowboy memorabilia, animal horns and other artifacts.  San Antonio also has a number of parks that act as tourist attractions. They include the HemisFair Park, the Missions National Park, and water parks like the Schlitterbahn German and Splashtown Water Parks.

Las Vegas is found in Nevada. Its location is strategic in that it falls near the Arizona and California borders. The other town that borders Las Vegas city is Los Angeles, which is about 245 miles away. The city is characterized by desert climatic conditions, receiving an annual rainfall of approximately 2inches.

The city is very vibrant and is regarded as the largest playground in the world for adults. This is due to the gambling activities that are found almost everywhere through the numerous casinos. Entertainment in the city is ever present, no matter what time that one visits. The city was actually created by a reputed gangster, Bugsy Siegal, who was later shot dead in 1947 before fully witnessing his dream come true. However, today the same legacy seems to have been carried forward with gangs owning and controlling the casinos and the gambling.

Las Vega boasts of over 38 million visitors annually. Of the fifteen largest hotels in the USA, fourteen are located in Las Vegas. The greatest attractions to the city are gambling and entertainment.  These two industries are still the largest in the city. Much of the adult play takes place on one avenue which runs from southern fringe all the way to the old downtown, sometimes commonly known as the Las Vegas Boulevard. Some of the major casinos on the Boulevard include the New York Casino, the Luxor Casino, the Eifel Tower of Paris casino, the Stratosphere casino among many more others.

Despite the gangster life in Las Vegas, it is interesting to note that many people still tie the knot here. In fact, there are couples who travel from far and wide, their destination being Las Vegas, in order to wed there. Another interesting thing to note is that almost all the major casinos in the city have wedding chapels or special rooms designated for this purpose. The reason for the high number of visitors seeking marriage here is due to the fact that the marriages are usually considered as ‘quick-an-easy’.

Entertainment in Las Vegas can be traced back to the times of its founder, Bugsy Siegel. Gambling has always gone side by side with flowing liquor and extravagant forms of entertainment. Such extravagance is always witnessed in the ever-present Las Vegas Shows in the city. The original versions of these shows featured mainly variety shows. Nowadays, people who visit this city are guaranteed of many entertainments no matter the evening that they are visiting. Moreover, most of the latest shows are and productions are more extravagant than the older forms of entertainment.

Most of the restaurants in Las Vegas are usually found in the casinos, though some exist independently as well. Visitors can try out the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is a common casino culture. It is usually tailored to attract gamblers to the casinos, hence in most cases the buffet s are very cheap.

Lastly, as far as tourist attractions are concerned, Las Vegas is not all about gambling. It is located next to one of the eight wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon National Park, the Death Valley National Park and the Zion National Park, all which are 150 miles each to the east, west and north east of the city respectively.
