GET FIT QUICK BREAK
For everyone who over indulged this Holiday Season, and that must be most of us, how about a get fit quick break. If your New Year’s Resolution is to lose those pounds and detox that body you may need some help. A week of intense diet, detox and fitness should get you on the road to recovery pretty quick and set you up to continue the good work for the rest of the year.
You can chose your break to suit your own needs and endurance. Some want to really feel the pain and opt for a stringent week of extreme exercise and diet. Others want a gentle week but want to detox, take some exercise and perhaps yoga and some spa treatments. Whatever you feel you need there are get fit breaks to suit you.
There are outdoor survival schools where you learn wilderness survival, live off the land and hike for 15 miles a day. There will be no modern gadgets and you will sleep rough. These are the most arduous of the get fit breaks and you must be reasonably strong and fit before you start.
If the above is a little too much for you there are a number of camps that offer more comfortable sleeping and living arrangements but have quite hard exercise regimes. Nordic skiing, hiking, bike riding, yoga and cardio vascular fitness routines to help you burn those calories and get fit.
If this is still a bit much for you there are very comfortable spas where you can be pampered and massaged. Take classes in yoga, dance, swimming, exercise, jogging and power walking. Have numerous beauty treatments from the top of your head to the tips of your perfectly pedicured toes. You will be well fed on delicious food and still mantain a low calorie intake and so hopefully lose those few pounds you gained over Christmas and New Year.
With any one of the above get fit quick breaks you should then start the New Year feeling slimmer, fitter and less stressed. Start the New Year by fulfilling your resolution to get fit and find the break that suits you.
